Oliv, a UAE-based startup, has emerged as a guiding light for young graduates seeking their first jobs or internships. Targeting individuals under 30 in the Gulf region and Pakistan, Oliv specializes in connecting young talent with opportunities in esteemed local and international companies.

Adeel Abid, Oliv’s Chief Business Officer, highlighted the platform’s focus on students in their final years of university or those recently graduated with two to four years of experience. Their partnerships with prominent brands like Careem, Sephora, Sony, and others offer a diverse array of internship and job opportunities for these young professionals.

The platform boasts an impressive database, with 500,000 registered candidates and over 10,000 employers from various countries in the region, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and other GCC countries. Major companies like Sephora, Careem, Samsung, Canon, Johnson’s, and Bose are actively engaging with Oliv to scout for emerging talent.

But Oliv’s support goes beyond job listings. They provide interactive masterclasses and learning programs to help candidates upskill themselves, with certifications upon completion. Additionally, the platform offers free resources like CV writing and interview preparation guides, emphasizing the philosophy of “learn and earn.”

Abid highlighted Oliv’s commitment to nurturing talent, mentioning that more than 80% of their companies and candidates hail from the UAE. While there are no charges for employers to engage with the platform, they have various options to explore, such as purchasing job posts, annual subscriptions, or utilizing Oliv’s specialist team for talent acquisition.

Moreover, remote candidates have the opportunity to acquire a personal landing page, website, and payment portal for a nominal fee, expanding their visibility and accessibility.

Overall, Oliv is not just a job platform; it’s a comprehensive ecosystem designed to support young talent in their quest for career opportunities, learning, and professional growth.
